Light as Dust

Light as a material to create an Animistic Space.

Light as Dust is a series of light experiments, marking a space or moment in time. Light gives a space a sense of dimension and time, and that makes all the difference. A space can be experienced through many different mediums. But one medium that is always present, is the medium or material of Light. If experience has to do with an atmosphere; then an atmosphere is created through the presence or absence of light. We have seen that the architecture of sacred spaces like churches, temples, mosques and synagogues often use physical elements that aide or allow light to enter through certain filters to create an overall aura of haze or purity and serenity to instantly make you feel solemn. But that same light entering the church or temple is entering your home as well. Then why does it not affect you the same way in which it affects you when you enter the sacred space?
