Solitude
Like stool, is a stool,
And a chair, is a chair.
A seat is a platform for your body.
You bend down to reach it’s surface; It unfolds to you,
Ever steady and fixed.
A seat doesn’t change itself for you;
You change your position for it,
To become one with it’s surface,
To take a moment to rest.
Now what if this stool was heavy?
Fixed in it’s embodiment,
And not so moldable by you.
How would you interact with it?
This stool is a device;
To experience a pause.
An apparatus for a stance,
A position occupied in a particular time.
To have or maintain a position,
Supported by one’s feet.
As a device it is to be situated,
In a particular position.
What does it mean to be on this stool?
To rise to one’s feet,
Move to and remain in a specified position.
Place or set in a moment;
To be in a specific state,
Or condition to be able to control.
Endure or Tolerate,
A rationalized mental and physical attitude.
Unwavering in it’s form;
You are the one that gives it a form.
And a chair, is a chair.
A seat is a platform for your body.

Ever steady and fixed.
